Encounter Jesus at the Triumphal Entry

Imagine the sort of day when you think you already know everything that’s bound to happen: all the people you’ll see, the things you’ll do, the way it’ll end. You roll out of bed and think you already understand everything there is to know; that nothing can surprise you in the way this day might go. So, on that sort of day, you’ve been doing the things you planned to do all morning; then, in the early afternoon, you’re on the way to do some other things. Nothing in this day is too exciting, too boring, too attention-grabbing: it is a very normal sort of day for you. Until… …suddenly… it’s not.
