74. Finding Fulfilment in Life and Love with Meredith Prescott
Today I am joined by Meredith Prescott, a licensed Therapist based in NYC, who who works with young adults, and specialises in anxiety, relationships, and chronic illness.
In this episode, we will talking about Meredith's journey from working with people who are terminally ill, and in end of life care, to her transition into working with new couples wanting to start a life together.
We will discuss the importance of couples therapy as a preventative measure, and why it is helpful to seek counselling in the early stages of your relationship.
About Meredith:
Meredith is a psychotherapist and founder of Prescott Psychotherapy + Wellness in NYC. She helps young adults and couples navigate relationships, anxiety, and chronic illness. Her passion is to help both individuals and couples establish healthy foundations for living their best lives.
She received her Master's in Clinical Social Work at Fordham University. Her experience includes working at Mt. Sinai Hospital for over five years counseling cancer patients and working in private practice settings. She has received a Post-Master's certification in Advanced CBT at NYU. Currently, she is finishing up a two-year certification program in Advanced Couples Therapy at The Training Institute of Mental Health.
