S1 B3: Bonus 1960s Albums: The Animals/The Monks
In the final installment of our trilogy of bonus episodes, Jon and Matt dig deep to find two albums with interesting narratives. We start by discussing the US version of "The Animals" by the Animals, a pioneering album of the British Invasion and one of the favorite albums of Jon's father. For our second segment, we embrace the avant garde with "Black Monk Time" by The Monks. The album marks both the debut and the final album for the mercurial group of US service members stationed in Germany turned pioneering band.
