Ep. 2: Jake Klar - Stewardship of Forests and Music
Jake Klar, singer-songwriter-artist out of Northampton, MA, joins us before hopping in a van to go build housing for farm workers in Georgia. Charles and Jake talk about his latest album, Masquerade, and the scary events that forced the album out after a three year incubation. Find out how Jake uses his art to benefit others and the environment, and connect communities. Jake was also the second participant in Sustain’s Songscape songwriting retreats, and we’ll hear how a century old working forest in northwest Connecticut inspired his ballad, “Tallyman”.
