NEW SPIRIT announced after 1481 Pages?! What took so long? John 14:16 (S3-Episode#13)

Our understanding about God COMPLETELY changes with what is in Jesus' teaching today.  It has been anticipated for THOUSANDS of years.  It changes EVERYTHING.  It affects every moment of our Christian experience from here on out.  It is an announcement of an eternity.  What is announced will never go away.

Simply, it is the Holy Spirit.  It is the 3rd Person of the Godhead.   This is Jesus' introduction.

Now I know that the Holy Spirit existed forever in eternity past and reared His Spirity Head occasionally in the Old Testament.  I know He was active in the lives of certain individuals: ...the Spirit of the Lord WAS UPON...or CLOTHED an individual...or RUSHED upon somebody.  But of all the people of the OT, you can count them on your fingers and toes.  Then there is the special intimacy that the Spirit had with David.  But these basically are special, unique, temporary, and sometimes even  tenuous.

Until now:  today we are introduced to the Holy Spirit by Jesus.  It is like, "Here is my best Friend that I have known forever.  Here are some basics that you will want to know about Him."  What Jesus describes changes everything.  It was worth the1481 page wait. Listen.
