Emma Lieber is a psychoanalyst in formation in New York, where she sees patients, and a part-time lecturer of Literary Studies at the New School. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Cabinet, The Point Magazine, LitHub, New England Review, The Massachusetts Review, L.A. Review of Books, European Journal of Psychoanalysis, and other academic and psychoanalytic publications. She is currently at work on a book manuscript, The Writing Cure, and an edited volume, The Queerness of Childhood: Essays from the Other Side of the Looking Glass (Palgrave, forthcoming) with Anna Fishzon. She is a member of the editorial board of The Candidate Journal, a psychoanalytic publication for early-career clinicians, and of Das Unbehagen: A Free Association for Psychoanalysis.
Dr. Lieber contributed two pieces to the anthology Rendering Unconscious: Psychoanalytic Perspectives, Politics & Poetry (Trapart Books, 2019), "Bellowing Presidents" and "Dear Jill, Dear Chris." www.trapart.net
