We are back with some of our favourite Jewish friends, this time to celebrate Passover. Scott is joined by cohost Jeremy Appel, Dr. Roberta Lexier of Mount Royal University and Daniel Moser from Alberta Jewish News to take listeners through a traditional Seder, complete with wine drinking, so grab a glass or four! Seders were created as a way for new generations of Jews to learn the story of their people from their elders, and to celebrate the renewal of the season.
As we go through each step of a traditional Seder, our panelists discuss the meaning behind it, the reasons for specific traditions and how it all ties into present-day politics and the ongoing struggles for Jewish people.
