Viruses: We live in THEIR World not Vice Versa (Intro to Viruses Part 1)
A virus can be simply defined as an obligate intracellular parasite. Each viral particle, or virion, consists of a single nucleic acid, RNA or DNA, encoding the viral genome surrounded by a protein coat, and is capable of replication only within the living cells of bacteria, animals or plants. Viruses are classified into different orders and families by consideration of the type of nucleic acid present (RNA or DNA), whether the nucleic acid is single- or double-stranded, and the presence or absence of an envelope. We understand so much about viruses now compared to just a few decades ago. Its time for all of us to grow up and learn a little bit about them. Dr. Fred Clary, founder of Functional Analysis Chiropractic Technique and lifting/life coach/ gym-chalk covered philosopher introduces a subject that is 'front page news' for the last 15 months yet the average human has not studied the subject at all and may still refuse to.
