Answering the Call: Mark 10:45

On episode fifty-one of the Gotta Be Saints Podcast, I spoke with Connor Xavios, about servant leadership.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

Biography: 

Connor was born and raised in the outskirts of Philadelphia, in a small city which is home to Monopoly’s most prolific railroad. Drawn to the opportunity to pursue a collegiate golf career, he packed his bags, golf clubs, and headed south to attend George Mason University in Virginia. He soon realized that his clubs actually could have stayed back in PA after not making the team. To this day, he maintains that this was the greatest blessing in disguise as this was a catalyst to discover his faith. While at Mason, he served as a student leader facilitating bible studies and headed their Knights of Columbus council as Grand Knight. Since graduating in 2015, Connor has worked across the private and public sectors to defend our homeland from domestic and foreign threats and most recently accepted a position with the Department of Homeland Security.  Outside of work, you can find him golfing, hip-hopping, playing piano, enjoying the company of  friends, and scouring WebMd for new potential diagnoses.
