Feeding the family can be stressful. This is especially true when you are on a healthy eating plan. But it does not need to be! Most children do not need to eat a low carbohydrate diet, however, all children will benefit from eating a real food diet. Dr Mary and Dr Lucy share their simple strategies for feeding their children real food. It is all about focussing on real food and reducing processed carbohydrates, aka junk food. We learn our habits around food from a very early age. One of the best things we can do for our children is to take food out of the emotional equation. Change the narrative! Sugar is not a treat, sugar is not a reward. Sugar is a harmful and addictive substance. As parents, we can let go of guilt, and we can learn to empower our children not to use food to soothe emotions.
