Prayer According to Psalms 19

Join Pat Willie as she brings you two minutes of prayer and reflection.  We believe that prayer is essential, life-giving, and life-sustaining.   This 2-minute prayer is according to Psalms 19. Please join us for 2 minutes of prayer to our Lord and Savior.

Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we thank you. And we praise you that you are our delight. We thank you, God, in the name of Jesus that you have given us joy and a peace that passes all understanding. We thank you, God, for the energy that we have in our bodies and the peace and the contentment that we have in our minds. It comes knowing you, for you have commanded us to cast all our cares upon you. For you careth for us. And so God, in the name of Jesus, I pray for those that will hear this prayer. That whatever they are worried about. Whatever their concerns are. They would take those things to you in prayer. And God that they would be real, honest, and transparent with you, in Jesus' name.

And when we come with that level of humility, God, you're always there to bless us. You're always there to help us. You always there to impart wisdom and knowledge and understanding. And you're always there to direct us in our next steps. For those that are carrying heavy burdens of guilt and shame, and that is processing through grief.

God, you promised to help us, in our most difficult times. and we always need you so I pray, you are noting in your blessings and your peace and your presence upon everyone that will hear this prayer. And that the Holy Spirit would minister to them and that you will agree, establish, and you will give them hope in Jesus' name. I hope is the blessed assurance that Jesus is on our side. Comfort their hearts. Let them know that you love us. Let them know that you care. And that you're with us. You're not far away. All we have to do is call upon your name and there you are. There's your peace. There's your comfort. There's your joy.. We thank you for it.
