Pulitzer Prize Winning Author Elizabeth Kolbert on Climate Change
This week, Major is joined by author and journalist Elizabeth Kolbert, who won the Pulitzer Prize for her book on climate change, The Sixth Extinction. Kolbert also recently released another book, Under A White Sky, in February. Kolbert discusses her writing on the climate crisis, and what steps need to be taken as a country and as humans to reign in carbon emissions and slow the gradual warming of Earth. She also discusses the impact of human pollution on our seas, and the damaging long-term effects this pollution will have on our food supply and marine ecosystems.
