106: A Lutheran's Case for Roman Catholicism (w/ Dr. Robert Koons)
In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, I'm joined by philosopher and Catholic convert Dr. Robert Koons to talk about his incredible conversion from Lutheranism into the Catholic Church.
When faced with the question of which Church was founded by Christ – and where he belonged – Dr. Koons, who traces his Lutheran history right back to the Reformation, applied philosophical principles to try and determine which Church he should belong to. After logically working out the arguments for both Lutheranism and Roman Catholicism, Dr. Koons made the dramatic decision to become a Catholic.
Dr. Koons includes his arguments for the Lutheran and Catholic case in his fantastic book A Lutheran's Case for Roman Catholicism and shares them with us in this wonderful episode.
