E002: Everest, Pro Cycling & Cultivating Epic Opportunities w_ Former GB Athlete Dan Hughes
Dan's list of achievements is incredible. He spent 7 years in the SAS, delivered the world's highest broadcast for the BBC at the summit of Everest and competed for GB in 2 Duathlon World Championships before becoming a Pro Cyclist for the Pinarello Factory team in the States. Now he travels the four corners of the world photographing his epic rides and has one of the most amazing Instagram accounts, certainly one of my favorites that you can follow over at @danielhughesuk.
We talk about the challenges of SAS selection and the grueling training for both adventures and pro cycling. We discuss how to cultivate opportunities throughout our lives before looking at training and nutrition on the go.
