Episode 108: 2020 Election with Dr. Nenaji Jackson
This episode Ian and I are very anxious about this election and therefore invite our guest Dr. Nenaji Jackson on to discuss the current politics at hand. We are in the midst of a presidential election and so this episode we break down some of the gibberish you might have heard on the news for the past 3 days. Dr. Nenaji Jackson is a political scientist and ethnic political expert and she breaks down what and why the Electoral College is, what the "Blue Wall" is, and how we as a community can do our part in the political arena. We also talk about why this election is different from all of the others, what this past four years has taught us about our country, and why Trump's rhetoric should be concerning to anyone believing in democracy. With so much of our time this year being spent in our homes and bedrooms you might have found it hard to get a good nighttime routine going. Below I have attached a playlist to help you as you try to wind down and check out at night. Enjoy.
