In our previous conversation with Paul, we had a very fruitful and engaging discussion grappling with the legacy, both positive and negative, of Christianity.
As it turned out, we had an amazing response to that episode and since I also really got a lot out of that conversation, I wanted to follow up with Paul pretty quickly and take the opportunity to dig into some of the threads that we didn't get to follow in the first chat.
Going into today’s talk, I wanted to challenge him more and be a little bit of a stick in the mud intentionally because I think there are seriously important criticisms that we have to take on and it’s important to examine the difficult aspects around the role of Christianity in the history of the west.
So I wanted to put this to Paul and see what his response was, and in doing so, this became a very deep conversation with some really powerful moments, especially towards the second half.
I'm very excited to see how people respond to this and I'm very thankful to Paul for having these conversations with me as they've taught me a lot, so I hope you all get as much as I did out of it.
