Love and Torah – what’s love got to do with it? This study series is based on the “Two Great Commands” – love Yahweh and love your neighbor.
Continuing in Ephesians 5, Rabbi Steve Berkson reveals the “two main areas of our existence”. This concept has a lot to do with the meaning of our existence and how we treat each other according to scripture.
From verse 13 the word “reprove” or “convicted” is further defined due to popular request.
What are the fruits of darkness? (verse 11)
What did Paul mean when he wrote, “wake up, you who sleep”? (Verse 14) To whom was he referring? How does one do that? How are you able to know if you’re one of those who need to wake up?
How does Elohim expect us to walk before Him? (Verse 15) Rabbi Berkson clarifies what it means to walk “exactly”. To what are we compared if we do or don’t “walk exactly”?
Many ask Rabbi Berkson if he would take them “deeper” in their walk. Their definition of “deeper” is somewhat different, so he corrects and redefines what “deeper” really means.
Do you know when you actually have a problem or just an undesirable challenge? Rabbi Berkson brings a much needed wisdom into this topic that just might give you some relief.
Do you know what the phrase, redeem the time, is referring to?
Rabbi Berkson once again dissects the words in these passages so that you will have a deeper understanding of what Yah expects of you, so that you can do it and receive the blessings.
