Today's guest is Cathy Dunleavy from Co. Galway, who shares the many struggles she has had in her life personally and professionally. This year she left her 14 year career as a nurse to pursue her passion for helping others to feel healthier and happier in her new coaching business. We speak about how the nursing profession has changed over the years and how Cathy wants to help people more on a one to one level. In her personal life, Cathy so openly and beautifully shares how a pregnancy scan at 16 weeks revealed her baby girl would not survive outside the womb and the decision She and her husband had to make with the support of Feileacain (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland – SANDAI) during and after the pregnancy. Cathy shares with us how holding her beautiful daughter Doireann and feeling the life leave her body had a profound effect on her. Cathy and her husband have helped raise awareness to other families not only by sharing so openly, but also in their fundraising efforts this year, taking on a 500km cycling challenge and raising 15,000 euro for Feileacain. A beautiful and compassionate lady who has so much to share with us and with the many people she will most definitely help in the future. You can find Cathy on Instagram and Facebook
