Mondays with Mihaela
Let’s talk about working late nights at the office and the link it may have on depression.
Do you send emails after work hours?
Are you hustling your way to the top and not sleeping?
Do you always fall into the trap of working no matter the time? And eventually leading to burn out?
We hustle to make our dreams come true. We do everything we can to achieve our goals even to the expense of neglecting our health. But is it all worth it? Working late nights can lead to burnout and depression and depression leads to unproductivity. Not to mention all the possible adverse effects of this to our physical health and mental health.
According to research, four out of five Australians experience burnout, and 92% of serious mental health concerns in the workplace are attributed to work-related stressors.
This is why I wanted to look into how late-night working may be affecting your physical and mental health.
If you or someone you know is working late nights and may be depressed, this is the episode to listen to.
