This week in history, Americans proudly celebrate National Beer Day! With the support of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, April 7 became known as the beginning of the end for the nearly 14 years of the prohibition of alcohol in the United States. This episode of TS2M is largely about beer - its history and our love for it - while we do talk a little about Bourbon and a couple of other spirits as well. We ended up learning a thing or two this round, and we hope you do too!
We thought it would be fun to have a show celebrating beer and alcohol. Being seasoned bar tenders, Joe and Justin were impressed with the information Peter brought about beer. Joe was equally intrigued that distillation was happening in our country before it was a country as much as Justin was impressed at Joe's Spanish pronunciations. Note: Several beers were harmed during the making of this podcast.
