When Nashville singer/songwriter Diane Ward was working at a South Florida record store in the late 80s/early 90s, she discovered a whole new world of music she had previously been oblivious to. One record in particular, 1989's "Free" by Hollywood, CA band Concrete Blonde, had a HUGE influence on her as both a performer and songwriter. Fierce indeed!
