Dealing with mental and physical health problems before she even hit her 20s taught Rachel a lot. She learned what she wanted out of life and about the things that helped her get through very dark times. And perhaps most importantly, she realized that you can never know what someone else is going through. People go through all kinds of shit that we don't know about. Rachel's goal is to make everyone's lives better by discussing all of that shit. Sharing, listening, and laughing about the tough stuff is the only way to get through. Mental Health Awareness month kicks off May 2021
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is characterized by unreasonable thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead to compulsive behaviors. OCD often centers on themes such as a fear of germs or the need to arrange objects in a specific manner. Symptoms usually begin gradually and vary throughout life. Treatment includes talk therapy, medications, or both.
