This episode looks at Jonah 4:1-11. This passage picks up the story of Jonah immediately after the prophet has preached to the wicked city of Nineveh. Unfortunately, Jonah is angry with God because Jonah knows God is going to show mercy on the Ninevites, the enemies of Israel. Jonah is ok with God showing mercy on him and his people, but he just can't handle the idea of his enemies experiencing God's mercy. We learn from this lesson that we must not begrudge God for showing mercy on others because we need God's mercy at all times.
