Episode Highlights:
· Evaluate your history and relationship with money
· How did your relationship with money growing up effect your current financial habits? Do you find yourself falling into the same habits as your family/peers?
· Financial self-care takes TIME
· Start by tracking the money coming into your bank account for 21 days - take a look at your paycheck, refunds, interest payments, etc.
· Calculate your budget based on your wants/needs - give yourself permission to spend on categories that you enjoy (examples: clothing, coffee, collectibles, etc.)
· Figure out how much you would need to charge per session each week in order to meet the needs of your budget - you may need to increase your rate, add on some additional clients, or take a look at your scheduling
· Find someone to do it with you - having someone by your side to help you along can take the fear out of doing it along
· Money is a TOOL
· Don't utilize it by paying for the most expensive and "name brand" items/services just for the flash - start with something simple and generic so you don't start out by breaking the bank
