Episode 150: Robin Bernheim - Suspension of Disbelief
This week on Uncontained I had the pleasure of talking to Screenwriter and Producer, Robin Bernheim. Her credits range from Remington Steele, Star Trek, MacGyver, and Quantum Leap to the recent highly successful Netflix movie starring Vanessa Hudgens, The Princess Switch -- you should definitely check out her IMDB page to see all her credits. She also has an upcoming series "Mystery 101" on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, that she wrote with New York Times Bestselling author, Lee Goldberg, which premiers this Sunday, January 27th.
We have a great conversation about the plane flight that changed her life’s plan and how she got her start in screenwriting in the 80’s when the industry was way more male dominated than it currently is. We take a trip down memory lane as she share some stories from the work she did on Quantum Leap, MacGyver, and Star Trek. Robin also shares what It was like making The Princess Switch and some behind the scenes stories. Did you know they typically shoot Christmas movies in the summer when it is 90 degrees outside? Along with all of the great stories Robin shares, she also has a lot of advice for the up and coming writer. Plug in your earbuds, this is how Screenwriter and Producer Robin Bernheim Lives Uncontained!
