Joshua Bailey - hip hop artist ‘Jay Ezekiel’

This 21 year old producer, rapper, writer & DJ from NW London sings and raps on self-produced beats, addressing a wide range of topics in his music from self confidence and anxiety, onto societal pressure to conform to the majority vs an autonomous lifestyle, extending to capitalism and its evils, and most recently covid and the impact of the lockdowns. Within which he spearheaded a powerful government petition to urge change in the current national schooling curriculum into educating British children on the realities of British imperialism and colonialism culminating in a near 400 thousand strong support of signees. His beats are influenced by Trap, Hip Hop, R&B, Funk and Soul music. Having studied English and Creative Writing at Loughborough University, his sights are firmly set on forging a career in the music industry and leaving a lasting legacy.
