Experiencing delight is one of life’s joys, and is part of living into a variety of experiences. We can choose to live a light hearted life, and learn and practice experiencing delight while also knowing life won't all be fun and isn't supposed to be.
“You need the darkness to see the light, the light to understand the darkness.” Delight is a counter balance to difficulty and part of full spectrum living.
Delight is delightful. It is light. It’s lighthearted. It is found by being in the moment. It is magical. There is no judgment in delight.
Fun and experiencing delight doesn’t come naturally to many. “It's Fun to Have Fun But You Have to Know How” said The Cat in the Hat. Many of us struggle with how to have fun. It turns out that “fun” and experiencing delight is part of our mindset and it is learned and practiced just like mindfulness.
