Winches 101

Learn everything you need to know about Polaris winches from Polaris Winch Project Leader Jeremiah Johnstun. Jeremiah tells us why we might want to add a winch to our Off-Road Vehicles, how to figure out which winch to buy and how to use a winch safely.

Make sure to review the winch guidelines, instructions and safety warnings found in your Owner’s Manual and on the Polaris Help Center. Always wear eye protection and heavy gloves when operating the winch and always use the hook strap when handling the hook.
