•Saye Carrie was born in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY of Liberian parentage. Throughout Saye’s life, she lived in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and now North Carolina. She holds a Masters in Social Sciences. Her focus is in diversity, social justice, advocacy, African and African diaspora studies, and Black/African natural hair. Saye likes music, cooking, and reading books. She is a wife, mother, daughter and sister.
