This June is "Drinking Movies Month" at Catching Up On Cinema!
All month long, Kyle will be introducing Trevor to some of his favorite movies to drink along to.
This month we kick things off with a review of Bruce Robinson's darkly comedic, Withnail and I (1987)
A worthy entrant in the Criterion collection, the film is an extremely British cult film with lasting appeal.
Starring a nascent Richard E. Grant as Withnail, and Paul McGann as the titular "I", the would serve as the launchpad for both men's careers.
Though all of our principle cast are continually guzzling down all manner of alcoholic beverages throughout the duration of the film, Kyle's recommendation is that a viewing of Withnail and I is best paired with a bottle of red wine.
