The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at women’s football across Europe.
This week Angelina Kelly is joined by Alejandro Diago and Give Me Sport Women's Nancy Gillen.
First up and over in the Division 1 Féminine, the destination of the domestic trophy seems to be Paris as PSG held Lyon to a 0-0 draw over the weekend. This means that PSG still sit at the top of the table, with one point between them and Sonia Bompastor's team. All Lyon can do now is win their final game of the season this weekend and hope that PSG drop points!
Then over in Spain, Barcelona's winning streak in the league came to a standstill as they were defeated 4-3 to Atlético Madrid! However, despite their blip in the league the team still had a lot to celebrate as over the weekend they achieved the treble as a 4-2 victory over Levante meant that they won their eighth Copa de la Reina title.
Over in Italy is was the Coppa Italia final which saw a tense game between Roma and AC Milan head to penalties, where Roma goalkeeper Camelia Ceasar ensured that her side won the shootout 3-1, as they lifted the club's first piece of silverware.
Next in Germany there was another cup final as Wolfsburg faced Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB Pokal final! It was another tense game as the fixture went to extra time and almost penalties had it not been for Wolfsburg who despite being down to 10 players managed to lift the trophy for the seventh consecutive time.
And finally this week’s hot topic is all about Team GB! Now that Hege Riise has announced her 18-strong squad that will be heading to Tokyo the panel discuss their opinions on the squad, who sadly missed out on a spot and which players perhaps should not have made it into Riise's squad ahead of an exciting tournament this summer.
