On this episode we're joined by BBC television and radio producer Alasdair Cross to discuss his new book The Spitfire Kids. It tells the story of the young people, some still in their teens, whose lives were affected by the the Spitfire in almost every guise - those who flew it, those who designed it and who built it and many whose lives were simply changed by the presence of the plane in the sky.
The Spitfire Kids by Alasdair Cross is published by Headline, hardback out now.
