Growing up in a house with Alan Thicke (or even Robin Thicke) would certainly be a house of horror. But this house of horror is located across the pond and doesn’t contain any pre-recorded laugh tracks.
In “Growing Pains,” episode 5 of ITC’s one-off series HAMMER HOUSE OF HORROR, we meet Laurie and Terrence, a married couple who decide to adopt a ten-year-old boy one year after their son, who just happens to have been the same age, commits suicide. This concept and this concept alone is more than a little strange and believe me, I go into detail about it during my commentary. What is even more unusual are the events that transpire the very day little James arrives at his new home. Cars veering off the road. Family dinner ruined by maggots inhabiting the entrees. A stuffed animal lying in a pool of what appears to be blood. Is James pulling pranks, or is there something more sinister happening beneath the roof of the Mortons’ English estate? Find out on this week’s episode of The Blind Rage Podcast, which is now available on more platforms than ever before, and please don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe!
