I am so honored to host my mother, Becky Kitchens, on the podcast! She was your typical stay at home mom of three, who raised us (her kids) on the standard American diet that included things like potatoes, casseroles and you can imagine, a whole lot of meat.
About 5 years ago, I asked my parents for a very special birthday present…to go plant-based for 3 months. They couldn’t say no to me! Not only did Becky feel better than she had in years, but she was able to lower her cholesterol 46 points! Incredible!
Now it’s 5 years later and we chat about all the tricks she’s learned about how to navigate being plant-based in a small Indiana farming community. Can’t wait for you all to listen!
