Welcome to Be With Me: 7 Minutes of Biblical Wonder.  If you are new to the podcast, you are starting in the best place.  We are on a sequential walk through Jesus' life as detailed in the gospels.  The real story starts here.  Season 4 is actually the start of the story.  The order is actually season 4 then 1,2,3.  So, you are in exactly the right place.  What kind of a knucklehead would start an epic in the middle?  Me and George Lucas. ;-)

Why a chronological walk?  Because it makes sense to our minds.  I think it is easier, less confusing, and is a story that builds day by day.  If there is a better way to read the Bible, I don't know what it is. 

After the amazing events of Jesus' life, careful accounts were written.  Luke is an excellent writer.  He tells us that this is a narrative, sourced by eyewitnesses and himself, following the life of Jesus closely, put together in an orderly account.
