9. Meeting the Needs of Pregnant Women with Disabilities – Trudy Williams & Cheryl Edwards
The Getting over the Bump Service at St George’s is the only collaborative midwife/occupational therapy service in the UK that works in partnership with women with additional needs to plan for pregnancy, birth and early parenting.
This episode will focus on the need for joined up, integrated services for pregnant and childbearing women with a disability, to ensure that their additional needs are properly met and will hear, in particular, from Trudy Williams, Midwife and Cheryl Edwards, Occupational Therapist from St George’s about the innovative work of the Getting over the Bump Service.
