What Happened At: Nintendo Direct E3 2021?

Nintendo closed off a packed weekend of E3 news with a strong showing, including a new Metroid title (But NOT Metroid Prime 4) - Metroid Dread, the first new 2D title in the series for 20 YEARS! We also saw a new WarioWare game, a return of a GBA classic with Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, and yes, finally another glimpse at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, with a tentative release date of 2022.

Other titles featured at the Square Enix Presents showcase included: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the new fighter, Kazuya Mishima from Tekken; Life Is Strange: True Colors; Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy; Worms Rumble; Astria Ascending; Two Point Campus; Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania; Mario Party Superstars; Just Dance 2022; Cruis'n Blast; Dragonball Kakarot; Mario Golf Super Rush; Monster Hunter Stories 2; Shin Megami Tensei V; Danganronpa Decadence; Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water; Doom Eternal; Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1&2; Strange Brigade; Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope; Legend of Zelda Game & Watch; and Hyrule Warriors.
