Angela McIntosh has devoted her life to public service. For 13 years, she was active duty in the US Army, and is a veteran of the 1991/1992 Persian Gulf war. Upon being honorably discharged from the Army, she transitioned to a position as a General Scientist with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), where she remained for 17 years until retirement in May 2017. Angela's volunteer activities include membership in Christians United for Israel, the largest pro-Israel advocacy group in the nation; serving as a panel member for the Heritage Foundation to help develop voter guides; service as the Secretary and Treasurer for the Republican Women of Frederick County; teaching children at her church, and, in 2018, serving as Coalition Director for Maryland senatorial candidate, Dr. Tony Campbell. Angela's education includes technical training in Health Physics and Preventive Medicine along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Angela is the recipient of multiple awards received during her service while in the Army and at the NRC.
