Professor Ronit Ricci is Sternberg-Tamir Chair in Comparative Cultures and Associate Professor, Departments of Asian Studies and Religion, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem; and Associate Professor, School of Culture, History, and Language, College of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University, Canberra.
Her book, “Contentious Belonging: The Place of Minorities in Indonesia” addresses fundamental questions about Indonesia's tolerance and acceptance of difference, and examines the extent to which diversity is embraced or suppressed.
