It's certainly not quiet uptown in Lin-Manuel Miranda's "In the Heights," the long-awaited film version of the Broadway hit musical. The movie is also surprisingly different from the show--we dive into what got cut, who got added and what was missed. At the heart of the movie is Olga Merediz as Abuela, but we also have lots of love for Assistant to the BSA Daphne Rubin-Vega, the effortless charm of Anthony Ramos, that well-cast Marc Anthony cameo and Mr. Softee himself, Christopher Jackson.
