The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) say vaccination should not be a prerequisite for international travel, as that requirement may deepen inequalities. The international health body says the vaccination conditions for travel could prejudice African countries which have not been able to secure vaccines at the same pace as wealthy countries.
