Brian, Blake and Richard are back with another episode of the Chasing Tone Podcast!
Brian bemoans the software industry as he has technical issues and it fires him into rant mode. Wampler made a pedal once that people thought was too weird for us, Brian tries to relate this to cars, and the conversation drifts into hillbilly territory…
Richard discovers that Brian, and Blake, have never heard of stadium dad rock giants, Status Quo, and is audibly shook by this telecaster based injustice. We discuss the infamous telecaster mods of Francis Rossi and then Brian reveals that the team have been working hard on some new products before he fantasises about breadboarding in Starbucks.
Blake gives us an update on his Rickenbacker to vintage Orange cab trade, Richard admits he not really into vintage amps so the guys pour well deserved scorn on his silly views. They then have a little bit of a look at Orange as a brand and Brian lowers the tone and reveals why he is the worst medical doctor to have.
How do you approach learning? Do online methods and apps work better for you than say traditional sheet music or tab ? The guys have different views on how they take in info and which learning style works for them. Brian then declares victory on the music taste front when Richard confesses to downloading Skid Row and Dokken.
ASMR for electronics nerds, mean comments, Dad metal, Bigsby and Grunge pedals, did we mention Patreon? It’s all in this weeks episode of Chasing Tone!
