The Midlife Woman's Guide to Style
Arts:Fashion & Beauty
“You will never find time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.” – Charles Buxton
We take time out for everything else, hair, nails, massage…
But most women don’t schedule time for their style
We’re not taught how to get dressed, we just WING it. I want to help you create a schedule
and be strategic!
What happens when we don’t schedule it:
We don’t plan to go shopping
We don’t plan to clean out our closet
We don’t plan time for alterations and wardrobe maintenance
We don’t plan time to think about what we want our style to be
This can leave us feeling frantic, disheveled and in a panic
Start to carve out 30 minutes each week, then increase from there. Mark it on your calendar
and hold this time sacred. Take this time to:
Get rid of a few items in your closet you know need to go (listen to last week’s podcast)
Create a week’s worth of outfits
Plan what you’ll wear for an upcoming event and try it on with accessories
Journal about what you’d like your style to look like
Hire a style coach
Read about the latest trends
Go shopping for something you know you need
Make a shopping list of what you’d like to see in your wardrobe
Drop off alterations, repairs or dry cleaning
When you do take time out to schedule a few minutes/hours each month to cultivate and
curate your style:
You have what you need
You build your foundation
You know what’s right for you
Your closet is organized and ready at all times
You feel relaxed, your confidence increases and you are able to fully step into your style
Come join us in the StyleFinder School of Style. We’ll show you how to schedule your style,
how to map out your blueprint and how to create a system for getting dressed.
