Two for the Road: Movies with Matt and Adam
TV & Film:Film Reviews
77: Thelma and Louise (1991) and Calibre (2018)
Text Matt & Adam!
"Vacations Gone Wrong" is this weeks theme. Ridley Scott's "Thelma and Louise" (1991) is a ground breaking feminist version of an outlaw road movie and both M&A think it still holds true today. Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon are both terrific in their title roles. Filmed in Scotland, "Calibre" (2018) seems to skirt on the edge of cliche, but ends up surprising enough to keep this little gem interesting and worth the pay off in the end. #madeinvermont #thelmaandlouise #bradpitt #geenadavis #calibre
Next, Patriotic Films with "1776" (1972) and Oliver Stone's "Born on the Fourth of July" (1989).
