To say that The Fast and Furious is one of cinema's most successful franchises would be an understatement. It has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide, and has generated clout for so many people involved. From Justin Lin to James Wan to Rob Cohen, people have come in and made the cars go really fast, which in turn have made people show up in droves. But how did this franchise get to be so successful? And does it deserve the drubbing critics give the majority of its films? Join Matt, myself, and Alyx as we watch the franchise in order, and they have (force?) me to watch a lot of these with fresh eyes. It was looking like one thing and one thing only was going to keep the Fast & Furious franchise down, and that's COVID-19.
