Cory Ventura surprised a lot of people with his Supersport performance at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca last October when he finished on the podium in race one and backed that up with a fifth-place finish in race two. Not bad considering it was his only MotoAmerica outing of the year as he'd focused his efforts on racing AFM close to his home in Northern California. Well, next weekend, Ventura is coming back for more and will again race his self-funded Kawasaki in the two Supersport races at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. We caught up with Ventura for this episode of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice to chat about his club racing and the upcoming race at Laguna Seca.
