We have a faithful, not perfect, guy who stays in the game with God day after day.  He's been given a little TREASURE: he's not gonna die until he sees Jesus.  I hope he was 20 when he got the promise and then lasted until he was 80.  That would be 60 years of daily anticipation.  "Is today the day that the Lord shows up?  No?  Then I can't wait for tomorrow."

Your being here with me today is very similar.  This might be the best podcast in your world and may speak to you incredibly.  But if NOT, come back tomorrow!  That is the idea of the spiritual word DEVOUT.

The God he is waiting for is coming to comfort the world; fix a problem; enter with tenderness; declare peace; and especially pardon sin.  No wonder Simeon couldn't wait!
