Welcome all to IS PHARMACOLOGY DIFFICULT Podcast! I am Dr Radhika Vijay.
In today's episode, I will be emphasizing on the value of Wait, Patience and waiting for worthwhile things in life! That actually makes a lot of sense!
The heading of today's talk dancing in fonts is the "plasma half life of drug".
To start with, its a good ritual to define the topic and then discuss the minute details, and so will I do. After definition, I will be focussing on deriving a formula for the same and very efficiently will accomplish it. You can actually calculate t1/2 of a drug by knowing parameters like Clearance and Volume of distribution. Next I will be talking about differences regarding first order and second order elimination kinetics. Then I will be covering topics like "Repeated drug administration", "Steady state plasma concentration" and "Plateau principle" in depth of conversation. To brush up, a few concepts will be listed, and then and there I will wrap it all for the day, making episodes lengthy is simply testing the comprehension capacity of mind which shouldn't be exhausted!With the idea of covering a couple of few more episodes in the same stream of topic, I will wave a bye!
