Drones in the emergency response space is not a new idea, however we have seen a growth of the application and use of drones by both small and large jurisdictions. Drones are a great tool. Today we sit-down with Chief Charles Werner (ret.) a world wide drone expert and director of Droneresponders.

Drones empower emergency managers and first responders to evaluate serious disaster situations. With realtime information that complements the information reported  from on the ground personnel, drones help complete the operational picture. Today drones have artificial intelligence , machine learning, augmented reality, infrared as some of their capabilities.
