Denver Broncos Training Camp: Safety preview

The Denver Broncos solidified their Safety depth this off-season by drafting Jamar Johnson and Caden Sterns. New Broncos General Manager George Paton made it an emphasis to keep the defense intact by re-signing Justin Simmons to a long-term contract extension, and also bringing back Kareem Jackson on a one-year deal. With one of the NFL's league top safety duos returning this season, Vic Fangio will have more flexibility with what he can do on defense. In 2020, the depth for the Broncos at safety was questionable, but heading into 2021, there are a variety of young players who could contribute in a rotational role and/or on special teams.
